The game features two individual timelines evolving in parallel, as well as "cause-and-effect" moments driven by the narrative. Playing the roles of the AmazingSpider-Man and Spider-Man 2099, Spider-Man: Edge of Time propels gamers on a high-octane, adrenaline-fueled adventure in which the heroic web-slingers must urgently work together across time to save each other and prevent a disaster that ultimately leads to the death of the AmazingSpider-Man. The game, developed by Beenox, is described like this: Respected comic book and sci-fi/fantasy writer Peter David has written the time-travelling tale for this latest "Spider-Man" game, which takes place in two different universes and jumps between 100 years of Spidey lore. Meanwhile Laura Vandervoort of "Smallville" and "V" is lending her vocal talents to the character Mary Jane Watson.

Kilmer will be joined by Katee Sackhoff (that's Starbuck to you) of "Battlestar Galactica" fame.
